The invoicing module is driven by hire/sale contracts (including those with timesheets) and manual invoices/credit notes.
Terminated contracts may be processed as often as the user requires.
Continuing Invoices are raised based on the customer’s/ contract’s invoice interval (e.g. weekly, fortnightly, monthly) and the user defined tax point dates. Invoices may be processed centrally or at each location. The User may select up to which tax point date invoices should be processed and enter the tax point date to appear on the invoice and the ledgers. The user may select contracts for invoicing based on the selection criteria of location, division, customer, contract and contract status.
An invoice run may be processed overnight leaving the invoices ready for printing the next day. The audit option allows the user to complete the calculation phase for an invoice run and print an audit style report, without allocating the final invoice numbers or completing the posting phase.
After the invoice is posted, it is stored for a user defined period of time. The invoice may be enquired upon, reported or reprinted as a copy invoice. The copy invoice may also be sent electronically to the customer automatically via the integrated fax option.
