Genesys adds new benefits to operated plant managment for BCL Rail
bclrail-webYLEM have recently upgraded functionality to the OPERATED PLANT functionality of the GENESYS hire system.  Although the GENESYS hire software already dealt with operated plant BCL Rail found that with a few improvements it would simplify their business processes.
BCL Rail, part of the Ardmore group, started in May 1999 with eight specialist road rail vehicles, it has expanded to date, with a fleet of over 70 specialist  vehicles in 4 depots across the UK.

With this  expansion of fleet size the complexity of the management of operated plant has grown too.  The new features in GENESYS manage the operators of the operated plant more effectively.

Enabling it not only easy to check to see if an operator has suitable training to use a piece of required plant, but also that they are available at that time as well.  Ensuring that staff have suitable training and easing the process of scheduling
